Matches in the esports championships consist of a best-of-five map format. A minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 10 players are required for each team. Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, and Domination are the three-game modes used in each match.
The Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, and Domination game modes are used to play the first three maps of an encounter. The Hardpoint game mode is used for the fourth map, while the Search & Destroy mode is used for the fifth.
After the regular season, the top eight teams in terms of points will earn a spot in the playoffs. The 9th–12th-placed teams will be assigned to the loser’s bracket in the first round.
Head-to-head group play fixtures carried online over the three qualifying weeks before each major will determine teams' seeding into the majors. Such qualification weeks are even more important now because only the top eight seeds will qualify for the major.
