The DreamLeague, formerly known as the Dota All-Stars before becoming renamed DreamHack, is now perhaps the most prestigious Dota 2 tournament globally. Even though Asian teams are dominant on a global platform, DreamHack competitions allow European and North American teams to also compete for the top prizes.
StarCraft 2
Although it was released in 2010, StarCraft 2 soon became a popular game at DreamHack tournaments. Naama (Finnish) won the inaugural competition at DreamHack Winter the following year after the inauguration. The game has become a regular feature at summer and winter DreamHack competitions. It has also been included in DreamHack Open tournaments owing to its newfound success.
Heroes of the Storm
Heroes of the Storm boasts protagonists from other Blizzard brands, including Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft, The Lost Vikings, and Overwatch. After its release in 2015, it made its DreamHack premiere at DreamHack Bucharest. The European TeamLiquid won the PGL Spring Champions of the Storm 2015. The popularity of this game in DreamHack has constantly been growing. BeGeniuses ESC received over $5,000 in prize money for winning the DreamHack Tours 2017.

Legend of leagues, Super Smash Bros., Smite, Street Fighter V, Heroes of Newerth, and Mortal Kombat XL have contributed to the DreamHack circuit's success.
